Rovinj

Rovinj is a small town in the northwestern region of Croatia (Istria) known by its rich history, beautiful architecture and mostly by its wonderful nature. Mediterranean climate rounds it all and gives the city a charm nobody can resist. We want you to experience some of this charm and we wish you a very, very warm welcome in Rovinj!

Traveling to Rovinj

Because of its great positioning (only 25-30 km away from Italian and Slovenian border) Rovinj is easily reachable by car from any of the neighboring countries – Italy, Slovenia but also Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary are not too far away. However if you travel from further away the preferred travel is by airplane.

Travel by Air

The closest commercial airport close to Rovinj is PULA Airport and is 40 minutes drive by bus or 20 minutes drive by cab. There are direct flights from Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam and Cologne in the dates of the camp with the standard airliners (e.g. Lufthansa). But there are many more cheap airliners flying there too (e.g. EasyJet, Flyglobespan, Germanwings, Ryan Air, ScandJet, TUIFly, Wizzair),

Other viable airport options are:

  • Rijeka (Croatia)
  • Trieste (Italy)
  • Ljubljana (Slovenia)
  • Venice (Italy, there is a regular boat connection to Rovinj)
